Need to rant? Just been flamed from someone on the other side and need to vent? This is the thread for you! But first some ground rules.
1. Absolutely no names { be it the person's real name or the username no matter whether they are on this forum or not } nor gender identifiers { he, she, her, him, etc } may be used on here when ranting about someone or venting about being flamed. That means if you wanted to post something like "Susan just beat the living crap out of me. I can't stand her" you'll have to change it so there are no names or gender identifiers in there which means it would end up looking something more like this: "Someone just beat the living crap out of me. I can' stand them." Why? You may be pissed off at them and feel the need to rant about them but if they or someone else who knows them sees your post you'll only end up causing more problems for yourself from that person. Also if you take out the gender identifiers after having been flamed or whatever then if the person you're ranting about sees this they can't jump to the conclusion that you meant them because they're a girl/guy as well when they see similarities to what you're ranting about and a past experience they had with you if you're using the "neutral gender" identifiers like they, them, their, theirs', and etc.
2. Because there are a wide variety of people on here or there will be in the future { hopefully } please try to keep the swearing to a minimum or use "alternatives" instead as there are some who may be a bit uncomfortable with a crap ton { see look! an alternative word } of swear words and also in the future there might be "youth" on this forum and we don't want to be the cause of any awkward conversations between them and their parents.
3. Please use common sense! Especially if you're venting about having just been flamed. If you get on here and vent about having been flamed and then proceed to insult the entire other side or a large group of them { as in calling all of them scum instead of the one who flamed you } then the purpose of this forum is being defeated and you only set yourself up for even more flaming to come at you later when they realize "hey that's so and so who was over on the Love Should Not Divide forum ranting about us."
4. If you're venting about having been flamed by someone on this forum first of all you might want to { just to be safe } vent on another forum and also please! Please! PLEASE!!!!!! if you're being flamed on this forum or you see someone else being flamed make sure to report it to a mod or admin { via a personal message ONLY } with as much information as you can give { who all is involved, what makes you think flaming is involved, links to the threads with the flames potentially being thrown, and anything else that might be needed to reach the appropriate conclusion } and the "staff" will discuss and evaluate the situation and if necessary contact the parties involved in the potential flame war { you will remain completely anonymous so please don't worry you might get flamed for reporting potential flaming } so the flames can be put out or misunderstandings can be cleared up.
